Helicopter Crashed Because the goddess Is Not Appeased - Oba of Oworonshoki

Just like Oba of Lagos and his ‘Igbos in Lagoon‘ theorem; another Traditional ruler, Oba Basiru Oloruntoyin Saliu of Oworonshoki, has explained why the Bristow helicopter crashed yesterday.

He lamented a total collapse of traditional rites in the area and attributed the cause of the incident to the refusal of the government to pay attention to tradition, noting that the crash might have been caused by the lagoon goddess.

Speaking to Vanguard on phone, the monarch said as soon as the incident occurred, he deployed all his chiefs and princes to the scene to assist in the rescue operation.

“The government no longer pays attention to traditional rites which is necessary to prevent such occurrences. For instance, how many times have we appeased the goddess this year? An occurrence like this may be caused by the goddess because no human being can depict the depth of the lagoon; but if the goddess is appeased, she would have prevented such occurrence.”
